The accreditation process ensures that standards of education offered by higher education providers are high and are rigorously maintained. Students must complete courses which are first accredited by and then subsequently approved by OLLS.

OLLS Accredits courses and works with higher education providers to ensure continuous improvement of quality. This ensures that the courses:

• are evidence-based;
• are up-to-date;
• are high quality;
• produce graduates with strong literacy and a commitment to lifelong learning.

OLLS conducts a program of auditing and monitoring of accredited higher education providers to ensure standards are maintained.
